Re: TV Led lg 32ln575 - no backlight
Hello Ad-M.
Were you able to resolve this issue?
Here's some info that may help.
I think one or two of the LEDs in your tv are bad.
Since they are connected in series, if one is bad, others won't work. You have to open it up and test each LED to find the faulty one.
The bad LED needs to be replaced. It is usually easier to replace the strip containing the bad LEDs .
NOTE: The voltage for the back lights is 195V DC. So ensure it is disconnected from the power board before working...

Re: Samsung PN51D6900
Hello.
First, check the voltage outputs on the power board. If any is lower than specified, it could mean it is being overloaded and this should be a start point.
While trying to repair a colleague's LG TV, I browsed through a lot of info online, one of which may help you.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Yeah me too
I'm Dave.
I dislike throwing away used electronics. I feel it's like disposing the baby together with the bath water.
I prefer to repair them or at least, harvest good components; certainly with some help from y'all here....
