Re: PS4 HDMI Issue
I do lots of PS4 HDMI ports and of them about 30% also have bad encoder chips. My success rate when replacing the encoder chip is 70/30 at best. Still have not found solution to fix the remaining consoles.

Stumbled across this site a few times and have learned quite a bit from reading here. Decided to join so i could have better access and ask a question or two here and there. I own a retro video game store and offer repair and refurbishing which involves a fair amount of replacing bad caps in old game consoles.Leave a comment:
