Well, no... it doesn't work 😑🤦♂️. The front standby LED lights up green and red, but there's no sound. The rear LED on the digital PCB lights up red. The wiring is incorrect. -
Sorry if my question was silly. In the end, by performing continuity measurements and following logic, we deduced the pinout of the connector on the side of the front panel. On the FilterReveal6 schematic, the order runs from 1 to 6. The connector actually only uses 4 (from 3 to 6). On the front panel, looking at it from the front (TANNOY logo), the connector from left to right:
1 -15V
2 pin6 from con3
3 GND
4 +15V
Now, when it's turned on, I have a green LED and it's working correctly "standby." If I'm not mistaken, it's not a standby as such, just a mute?...Leave a comment:

Hi All.
I'm trying to troubleshoot an 8D with cable/connector problems CON3. It seems someone already checked and removed the female connector from the PCB, soldering the wires directly to it. My colleague disassembled the unit because the power or standby LEDs didn't light up, and the wires came loose. We don't know how they were soldered. From the schematic, we know there are +15 and -15V connections. We don't want to make a mistake when resoldering them, and the schematic doesn't show the front panel. If anyone could help, I'd be very grateful. And sorry for writing in an old thread....Leave a comment:
