Hi Morten. Might I ask where you ordered new board from? I have similar problem. I think I also had a bad led strip as well. I think I need to start with power board first as the voltages are all wrong at led connector. Would love to repair existing board to save some money but not sure how to go about that exactly. Only discoloration on board that is visible is around the 4 black diodes near led connector. People mention bad ic9101 but can't seem to find part number to order it. I have a suspicion that the bad led strip is shorted...

Do you happen to have the part number for ic9101? Trying to fix a bn44-00502a out of a UN46ES6150FXZA with no backlights but everything else seems good.

Hi folks! New here and just figured I would introduce myself. I am a bit of an electronics monger and tinkerer. I love to get things working again especially when I think there is lots of life left in them! I hope to learn some new tricks and participate and assist when I can. Thanks for allowing me access to what seems to be a valuable resource to keep things from ending up in the trash heap!
