Re: Keyboard help

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the input, I'll definitely be looking into some of these models. I realize that gaming keyboards don't necessarily mean they're premium products and that most of the time they more premium in price than quality (lol), but I like the glooooow the amazing glow.

Anyway, thanks again! I will probably get a corsair since I am hearing a lot of people talking about how strong the build quality is.

@Jiroy, don't sell it. Keep it as a memory!

    Keyboard help

    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone would have some input on keyboards. I've been using budget keyboards all my life, but they've started wearing down a lot faster than what I'm willing to keep paying (the last one died within 3 months).

I went and googled around, looked for lists of keyboards that are decent and affordable. I found this site: http://www.yourgamingsetup.com/7-best-gaming-keyboard-under-100/.

My question is which of the keyboards here would be the most "bang for my buck" as people would say? I'm looking at the Razer...

  • Re: Cleaning Motherboards - ATTN SMOKERS!!

I know detergent does get used to clean out boards. I know a mechanic that made a huge ton of money fixing car computer boxes after a flood and was laughing his ass off since he charged people the standard price, but all he did to fix the computer boxes was to soap them with detergent, rinse and dry.

Anyway, thanks for the guide. My father is a heavy smoker and I've been seeing nicotine gunk on my motherboard and card.

I understand that there isn't a clear cut answer, but Intel is really getting on my nerves with the information manipulation. Feels like everything Intel says is a lie now. ...

  • Re: Some serious security bug in INTEL CPUs?? Since Westmere possibly

I saw their reply to one of the issues presented in their chips. They practically just waved a hand at it by saying it can't do much damage in your files or something. Then proceeded to say it's not unique to Intel chips.

Anyway, are the AMD cores really better? God damn it! I upgraded to an i5 a year ago and I spent hours on hours looking at benchmarks and everything, but Intel always came out better. I hope they're not pulling that old Pentium IV scam again.

  • Re: Heads up: Major price hike GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

The price inflation is probably due to demand. Not everyone is tech savvy, I bet people just buy the "latest" cheaper model without knowing (nor asking) what the difference is.

  • Re: The 2018 Operating System thread

Windows 10. I've always been a fan of Windows 7, but 8 didn't quite fit the bill. I got Windows 10 when I upgraded my computer, because some of the drivers didn't work on Windows 7.

Now I like it so much that I don't plan to change it anymore.
