It's 1.3 KOhm
I measured :
+3VAO = 3.3 Volt
+5VAO = 2,8 Volt
The weird thing is that, after plugging and then removing the charger, resistance of +5VAO went very low to 11 ohm, but gradually get higher after some time back to 1800 ohm...

Re: Sony Vaio MBX-224 with +5valw and +3valw voltage drop
Do you mean measure it in diode mode? or in ohm mode? i'm sorrry i am new in this things.
I measured both PL16 and PL17 in diode mode with red probe on ground, and black probe on the coil, the result is this :
PL16 = 240 ohm
PL17 = 240 ohm
But when i use ohm mode, with black probe on ground;
PL16 doesn't show fix number in the multimeter, it shows random resistance
PL17 = 2,7 k...

Sony Vaio MBX-224 with +5valw and +3valw voltage drop
Hi guys,
I have a sony vaio mainboard with this symptoms; when i plugged in the charger, the +5valw and +3valw have normal voltages, 5v and 3.3v.
But when I press the power button, the 3.3v drops to about 1.4v, and the 5v drops to around 0.1v, and in the dc power supply shows 0.13 amps.
Any help would be appreciated....

Axioo Neon HNM (ECS_MB40IAX_MB40II4) Dead
I have this mainboard that would not turn on. The DC Power Supply shows 0.003 Amps. I Checked there is no voltage in battery slot pin, and there is no voltage in 5VA and 3VA.
I am new in board repair, so where do i start?
Thanks in advance...
