    Thank you for the response, I did download the ZIP file for flashing the main board, doubt thats the same thing you mention, but maybe. I remember the days we used eeprom programmers. I found a new A board on the bay for $50 and ordered it up, double checking the suffix codes before they ship (I hope), if that matters. I guess for $50 why not give it a shot. I've watched to many youtube video's on this to where I'm feeling pretty pessimistic, but will keep my patience level on this project up as I learn more about the panasonic plasmas.

    I love websites like this. I started out young, fixing lawnmowers and mowing people's lawns, got into electronics in 87 in tech school, didn't stay with it but still have a good AC/DC background, smart enough to ohm out and find broken wires, not so good with circuit level repair, although I did board level repairs on Wyse 60 terminals back in the 90's when I was going to 4 year college, which didn't do much good, got me a desk job much later, and I was still sending out CRT's to my repair guy back in the 90's.     I don't want to make a new thread, anyone can get me headed in the right direction?

    When you plug it in you get a double click, then about 14 seconds later another double click. Then I hit the power button, the green LED on the SC and SS boards light right up, then the red light on the lower part of the A board (this is looking at it from the back with the cover off and the room lights out) does a quick flash before the two clicks then the SS and SC board green LEDs fade out simultaneously, and we get the flash on the front LED...
