This is the second laptop I have and the password cannot be removed either (T470 and T480s) - it is restored by an unpatched BIOS. I assume that with some version the autopatcher does not work as expected...Leave a comment:

Same problem. I removed the password from the BIOS. I flashed the patched bios. When turned on, music played. Turned it off with a button. The laptop didn't turn on again. I am attaching the original bios. (unpatched).
