Updated information. After the unit shuts down after the approximate 5 minutes of on-time, sometime after that it starts flashing the power led - 13 times. AND, I can turn the unit back on with the remote - but still the same blue screen - and no further responses to the remote. it then shuts off after another five minutes.

Hi, picking this t-shoot up again. have this set and does not work (why else would i be here!). plug it in, hear relays click in, then out, a moment later it clicks back in. does not respond to remote. remote is transmitting (observed via mobile phone camera). hold on/off button on rear of set for about five seconds, i hear the relay click, the leds come on, the red power light comes on and there is no picture, but the screen is a dark blue. still does not respond to remote. does not respond to reset (-volume + setup on remote). five minutes later it...
