Re: Vizio E320AR Power Supply Board Overheats
No I was looking at symptoms online and the EEPROM symptom is what was fitting ... Symptoms being the only way to turn tv on an off is unplug it from the wall and when you do plug it in it freezes on the boot up screen showing the "v" for vizio ... What else could it be ? I'll be glad to check

Re: Vizio VO420E - INV_ON signal stays low
It is a smart tv.... A and all the locations for EPROMs they "look" fine no burns or swelling ... Is it a programming issue ? And if I can't find the correct programmed EEPROM then buy a new board ?

Re: Vizio E320AR Power Supply Board Overheats
From what I have seen the EPROMs for this tv are 8 pin and there are a total of like 5... I want to say it's location U2,6,8,10, and maybe 4. I'll look tonight when I get home post some pics with the numbers on the actual chips to see if one of those is the culprit. Is it common for vizios it all tvs to have these issues ? This tv is only three years old. I have a hitachi plasma I bout in 2008 still kickin no problems. On the vizio I've had to replace the ir sensor and this is the second time I've had to open it .

Re: Vizio VO420E - INV_ON signal stays low
Vizio TV suck in boot up screen when turned on.
Need a little help here... i've been looking for a similar thread but can't find anything.....
I have a Vizio , model number E3DB420VX, and the mother board number is 3642-1462-0150(7b).
After looking and researching on the internet for the last two days it seems that all arrows point to the EEPROM CHIP.. however i can't find the location of the chip and nowhere on the internet is it listed.... question is, IS it on this motherboard or is it...
