Hi everyone, sorry to bring this back from the dead. I am having the same problem that plbrand was having with his sceptre tv. STBY light on...won't power on. Same model, same boards. I am also getting the same readings on the pins. Is there a way to bypass the main board with a jumper so i know for sure that it is the problem? I am having trouble finding an EEPROM that matches my board #s exactly and according to shopjimmy it has to be EXACT....the closest is 1 number off. According to SCEPTRE they sell the whole board...but I would still...

Hey everyone!!! My name is Trevor. I Just recently stumbled onto this forum while trying to troubleshoot a tv. I like dabbling in electronics and have fixed a few household appliances (who doesnt like saving money...) but have no formal training.
