Bios settings like Wake up on Lan is Disabled and "On A/C power Loss" is set to Off. I generally check the bios first for settings that can turn on the board so its generally not a Bios problem.

I work as a repair tech at a system manufacturing company and I have to repair a large number of system each day. What I noticed is that I get a large amount of systems that power on as soon its plugged in. The ones that don't post I wont waste much time with, but its the ones that post and burned tested without problems that has me perplexed.

With problems like Bios settings, WOL and Last State, Power Supply, and CMOS battery aside (have access to fresh equipment as needed) even when the motherboard is taken out and placed with minimum setup (PS, MB, 1 working Mem, 1 working CPU,...
