    Thanks for pointing me to that small board with the glue, it was almost completely covered.
    I had to remove the board to get to all the glue, but after replacing it the sub now works. Thanks!
    One minor thing is the power status led is no longer functioning, but my ears don't seem to mind...

    Sad day when my TS 8 stopped working.
    Danged thing refuses to come out of standby mode even when set to on instead of auto.
    It will however occasionally make a loud thump from the speaker even with no input connected, which gives me hope that somehow it can be resurrected, now if i just knew where to start...
