  • Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32DH77E Static band

    They don't stock my model.

Daft question, would I be able to use another Sharp MB for a similar model but not exactly the same? That website above has a few other Sharp 32" MBs and wondered if any would work?

Also I'm assuming there's no way of fixing the MB? Does it have an option to flash it in hopes that will fix the issue?

I'm not sure how similar TV MBs are to PCs in what can be done to them and their compatibility with other components of the TV

    Ok thanks,

Any recommendations on sites for cheap replacement boards? I did google thinking I might have to replace the MB but they're so expensive! And for £100+ I might as well invest in a new tv.

  • Sharp Aquos LC-32DH77E Static band

    Hey there everyone,

I'm having an issue with my tv which is used for console use only. The static appeared after disconnecting my PS4 for a week when I connected it on my return.

I've tried 2 other hdmi cab,es, tried the PS4 on another to (which is fine) done various resets on the tv including an "initialise"on the manufacturers menu.
Taken the back off to check for loose solder points and all ribbons plugged in correctly. Wiggling all hdmi ports doesn't affect the static at all.

The only thing that makes a slight difference is unplugging...
