ok Since no one has responded Im going to order part.. now is the part on number on the board as mine says fs hbc2lv2.4. Is this all it needs to match up and work, also as stated above can i just swap the old with the new, or is there something else that needs to be done. Figured if its not this i can resell on ebay. Thanks for your help.

How can u be sure that is what it is.. the backlight is on when i turn it on. And if it is this... is it as easy as unplug and plug in new one. I dont know very much about this and where is this usually located thanks

Ok Im trying to figure out wat ios wrong with my lcd tv. It bagan last nite when it just turned off . Wouldn't come back on. Later the next day unplugged it to reset it. It came on with backlight on. However that and sound is all i had. no onscreen menus or anything. Also the green power light was on. Is this a possible inverter problem or something else. i have the back off and was looking for aNYTHING UNUSUAL WITH THE INVERTER, BUT AM NOT SURE WAT TO LOOK FOR OR IF THIS IS THE PROBLEM. aNY HELP WOULD B GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hey sorry to interrupt post, but having the same type of problem... When i turn my tv on it is black but has some light showing like it is on but has no signal. I do have sound, but no on screen menus work nor does the picture come on.. i was reading and saw that it may b one or 2 things. the inverter or the power supply. Is there a way to tell if it the inverter? or the power supply? Sorry if it sounds dumb but i have no knowledge of lcds? ant help would b awesome....
