• Re: please help identifying resistor?

Great thank you I will reinstall it on the board. Just curious as to what the green band means?

• please help identifying resistor?

Idk if I posted this in the correct spot or not but I would like some help or opinion on the value of this resistor? I removed it from a Proscan 55PLED tv power supply suspecting it was bad after some troubleshooting and diagnosis. It connects between one of the FETS and the main capacitor on the hot side of the board. Resistance reading when removed from the board is 0.4 ohms. The issue I am having is that the middle band is silver, and all 5 band resistor charts show no silver as the 3rd band, grey is the only option which would make this a 27.8 ohm resistor. Based on the size of it I would...

• Re: Samsung HP-T5064 Ysus troubleshooting problem

To simplify the concern, does anyone have a suggestion of what may be causing the Vsc voltage to be half, disregarding the other measurements?

• Samsung HP-T5064 Ysus troubleshooting problem

Hello all, I am working on a Samsung HP-T5064 50" flat screen plasma with a dark/blank screen and no picture. I have the issue narrowed down to the Ysus/Ymain board. The LED indicator on the board lights up indicating a problem. My Vs is good at 204V but VScan voltage at the test point on the board is about exactly half of what it should be, proper voltage should be -190V according to the label and I am getting -97V. The board# is LJ92-01490A/LJ41-05120A. I also measured voltages at the following test points:

SIN_2 should be 0V
OC2_C_2 should be 3V
...

• Re: Mosfet replacement

Thank you all! I have continuity between A1 and A2, and .378 between A1 and K with + to anode and - to cathode, nothing with leads reversed. Same result from A2 to K. From your teachings this means it's good... I appreciate the help. I didn't realize the anodes were tied together, I thought they were separated by their respective diodes... on to further testing!

When you say in cct, do you mean with the component installed in circuit? Or do you mean in a circuit continuity test with the component out of circuit? Sorry I'm not sure what your abbreviation means... I know this is an old thread but I have this same exact rectifier and pins A1 and A2 measure continuity with no resistance between them (shorted) with the component out of circuit. I am understanding this as a failure? Thanks to all in advance....
