Re: Samsung UN75F6300AFXZA Left Half of the screen Dark
Thanks for the advice. I was able to open it up and do some diagnostics over the last couple evenings. The pictures attached is the way I got it. As you can see, its got the discoloration & sluggishness moving right-to-left across the screen like the OP's. The discoloration starts about 1/4 of the way across and gets progressively worse. It produces this interesting "checkerboard" pattern which I assume corresponds to each section that the gold tabs control. Jiggling or pressing on the tab bonds did nothing, none...

Re: Samsung UN75F6300AFXZA Left Half of the screen Dark
Hey folks, great thread. I recently came across this same model with exact same panel symptoms. I haven't dug into it yet, but I'm fully anticipating having to do the side tab removal trick as a last resort. My question is - what is the life expectancy after doing such a procedure? @MilitaryBrat is your TV still working 3 years later? Thanks

Re: e701i-a3 no picture but backlights
Back from the dead!! A big thank you to all the contributors to this thread! Add me to the list of success stories! For those keeping track, it was the LEFT side driver board that was bad on mine. I opted to get a new T-Con board instead of trying to micro-solder new transistors on the original board. But, I also highly recommend ordering 2 T-Con boards, as it's essentially a 50-50 shot that the first one will fry on startup. Very happy she's up and running again!
