its the video board not the main board .. i have this tv .. and had the problem . also there is a small fan on it that collects dust and if it stops the tv will not turn on .

thanks . good idea and now i can test my small sanyo DP19640b 19.2inch led tv. IT lights up and works for about a minute cold then goes dark . every power recycle from then on makes it come on for about 30 seconds and goes dark with sound still there . i was told it might be the backlight . very odd as its the first one i have seen go bad or wear out. its almost always the inverter . i will try it and then i will know !

i have this tv and loved it . several problems vcam up after 3 years of flawless operation it started to not want to turn on . unplugging for 20 secs and then powering up worked . then it didnt after 6 months .. further research some one said check the little fan on the output input board to see if its stopped from dust . sure enought it was stopped full of dust . i stuck a vacume on the air vents and sucked the dust or most of it and the fan worked and the tv cam on another year .. later the wifi stopped working .. a new wifi modle fixed that...
