Ok, bad panel, and by that you are referring to the LCD panel itself and not one of the boards?


And yes the yelling did not work, next time I am getting the mega phone out....

So here it is, a Sony problem.

This set was working fine the evening before, the next morning a split black and white screen. No warnings just toast. I can not bring up the menu, there is no picture from any input on either side. It just stays black and white.

I have opened her up, disconnected all connectors and re-sat them. I have pulled out the t-con board and power board to look for shorts or obvious problems. I shook the boards violently and yelled at them to no avail. I put it all back together with no extra parts...
