Re: PSU schematic for iMac A1225 (PA-3241-02A2)
OK. I just found that the GBU808 component is defective.
When it goes bad, are there any other components that will be affected by this component going bad? i.e. which other components will be also damaged?

PSU schematic for iMac A1225 (PA-3241-02A2)
Hi,
My iMac A1225 (820-2491-A) doesn't turn on today.
Pressing the power button does nothing. Already replaced the fuse in the plug.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Also does anyone have a schematic or boardview for that board.
Thanks.Last edited by eNoob; 11-11-2017, 10:30 AM.

C7021 capacitor replacement
I have a 820-2879-B board. One of the capacitors needs replacing.
Does it matter which manufacturer to use?
Could somebody recommend a manufacturer to use for this part.
C7021
0.1UF
10%
402
X5R
25V
Thanks.

N-Channel MOSFET RJK0332DPB-01
Is my MOSFET bad?
Pin 4: 0.03v
Pin 5: 12.6v
I'm not getting 12.6v on the source.
Is it because my drain is less than threshold voltage?
This is from my 820-2879-B board. I'm trying to figure out why my PPBUS_G3H is only 0.03v.
Thanks.

Btw, the continuity tests on the inductors are beeping on my meter. Does this mean the inductors are OK?

Re: R36G Y208 Components on the 820-256-A board
It says:
Apple (c) 2009
820-2565-A
Do you think the printing is wrong?
Where do I find the correct board number?
Thanks....

R36G Y208 Components on the 820-256-A board
Hi,
There are 2 components on my Macbook A1278 (820-256-A board).
What are they? Inductors?
I tried Google but I can't find any info/datasheet for them.
Any help would be great.
Thanks....Last edited by eNoob; 09-01-2017, 02:02 PM.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi,
My very old Macbook died a few months ago. I thought I would learn to repair it myself, think of it as a sacrifice to the church of Apple.
