  • Re: philips 55pfl5527t/12 Problem

    Hi!

Now the new T-con board arrived but unfortunately it has some component that is placed in a position named "45 inch" and the old one has the component in "55 inch" position. The tv is 55 inch.

I concluded the test with cable ribbons removed on either side and then with the new T-con board.
    1. ribbon removed: full screen is black and no lines visible.(pict no end:2456)

Thank you so far for the replies!

Then the tv got broken and I salvaged it from being thrown to electronic waste.

    Symptoms:
First horizontal lines appeared on the screen. By time the problem got eventually so bad that the image was completely unclear. The screen also has darker are in the middle which gets smaller after a moment of having it on.
Also when I tested the tv I was unable to get...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hi group members! I decided to join the forum since it seems like the most proper forum to discuss about the technical issues that I every now and then come across. Im interested in fixing broken electronic stuff like TV's and what ever project that I take. I've so far been quite successful in fixing stuff that otherwise would have ended in junkyard. Currently I'm dealing with 55 inch philips led tv and with this I guess I will need other members assistance.

I'm very excited to join the group. I strongly believe...
