I have a TV that was connected to a circuit without protection. For some reason the garage in my '62 split shares some outlets in the main living room and the upstairs. I thought I had put a surge protector on it, but it turns out that that it was replaced with a simple strip.

Error occurred when I was running a planer in the garage, hit some knotty wood and tripped the breaker.

when I flipped the breaker back on, the TV started with a black screen that slowly shifted to white and there was some vertical magenta/red banding that could best be described as what looks...
