Thank you all in advance. I have a samsung un48j5000afxza that has horizontal lines going through it and the picture skips. I can hear a high pitched sound coming from the tcon board that matches the skipping (almost like a consistent beep). It sounds like electrical noise.
When I unplug the left side of the tcon board it continues, but when I unplug the right side it stops the skipping, and that half of the screen works fine.
The skipping high pitched sound comes from the tcon board. There are no swollen caps on the main board. Do you think the tcon board is bad, or could...

I have this Samsung UN55JD700D 4k tv that has sound but no picture. I bought a new tcon board from shop jimmy that didn't fix it. When I unplug the right side (when looking at back of tv) ribbon cable on the tcon I get a great picture on just the right side of the screen. The left side will just stay black. If I unplug the left side and leave the right side in I get nothing. All the backlights are working, and I don't see any swollen caps. Any help is appreciated.

Reseated the LVDS cable and the lines are gone. Picture is perfect. Big thanks to all of you who paved the way on this one.

I have the exact same vertical green lines across the whole screen as Brando70 has in the post dated 5-3-17. These happened after I did the panel fix. Otherwise, picture is fine. Any ideas to get rid of them? Could I have bought a flaky tcon board? I did go back and double check that there was no residue left after peeling off the tab drivers and reseated all the connectors.
