Re: Cyber Power 2200E not switching to AC power (0V output)
Hi,
So here are pics of transformer and wiring:
Wiring goes like this;
1 - blue, from the AC input
2 - brown, from AC input
3 - blue, (thin) from transformer primary
4 - white, to output sockets
5 - black, from transformer primary
6 - yellow, from transformer primary
7 - black, to output sockets (for soldering on the board)
8 - blue/white wires (on conn) from transformer secondary
9 - fan
10 - red, (thick) from...

Re: Cyber Power 2200E not switching to AC power (0V output)
Thank you for helping me guys.
@budm
yes that's the correct UPS and it has AVR function. Relays you were looking are lower two (NOT the two around the buzzer).
@Elysarian
There is no scorch, but some solder flux traces -that part was repaired i can see it how two resistors and diode nearby are soldered together (note that ups was repaired earlier, before i got it. Don't have any info why and was it working after)
I think that relays are driven by transistors MPSA42...

Re: Cyber Power 2200E not switching to AC power (0V output)
@budm
Sorry for confusing you. UPS is not activating relays when on AC power.
I've tested relays separately, by giving them known +12V from lab power supply and measuring resistance over contacts. They are tested good.
Any other hints except relays?

CyberPower 2200E not switching to AC power (0V output)
Hi to all,
I have CyberPower Value 2200E-B UPS which is not bypassing AC input to load.
When connected and turned on to AC 230V it does not show any error, it passes self test and on display it's shown input & output voltage, batt capacity and load - everything as it should be. Problem is that there is no output voltage (0V!) on any socket (only when connected to AC 220V!) However, when switched to battery power (eg power failure) UPS works normally, it switches to battery and output voltage is stable 220V.
I've tested all relays and they are OK, (voltage...

Replacement for PWM regulator AP1501-33
Hi guys,
In Linksys WRT54G i've found one faulty AP1501-33 PWM regulator (to263-5l housing)
According to datasheet 33 means 3.3V
Here in Croatian shops i can only find AP1501-50 which would be 5V. Is there any other replacement or i must find exactly AP1501-33?
Thanx!Hi guys,

Re: Hot Air soldering station Aoyue 852 or Gordak 850B?
My biggest problem is that shipping rate to Europe is very high and customs are not too much user friendlySo at the end, when shipping and custom taxes are included everything from ebay comes around that two i mention in my first post.
In general, i want to ask...is this 852A model better than 850B?

Re: Hot Air soldering station Aoyue 852 or Gordak 850B?
Thnx.
I don't need soldering iron, i already have weller tcp24 50W. i found http://tinyurl.com/854zbwk and price is competitive, but as i see this one have fan inside the handle, and i think (am i wrong?) that pump/compressor is much better option.Re: Hot Air soldering station Aoyue ...de the handle,

Hot Air soldering station Aoyue 852 or Gordak 850B?
Hi to all,
I'm planning to buy new hot air soldering station.
I have offers for Aoyue 852 for 143€/191USD
http://www.aoyue.com/en/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=380
And second option is Gordak 850B 92€/123USD
they both have similar characteristics (temp range, display etc...). So which one would you recommend to buy? I know it's all made-in-china, but i'm asking cause 850B is old model, and i've heard that 852 Auyoue is having much better, precise temp control.
thnx guysHi to all,
I'm planning

Re: Delta electronic atx 600W - 5V drop
You mean on those two in red circle? Because i only replaced those two, i didn't replaced others on right board.
btw those two were replaced with Yageo low esr 105C

Re: Delta electronic atx 600W - 5V drop
Update: While loaded with two hard drives, 5V has 0.38V ripple showing almost full ac wave. On 12V ripple is much smaller, like 0,09V. I have portable scope and can post pics if needed.
these are esr in circuit readings:
3330uF 6.3V and 10V 0.01ohm
2200uF 6.3V 0.03ohm
2200uF 10V 0.01ohm
1000uF 16V 0.02ohm
any hints, pls?Re: Delta electronic atx 600W - 5V drop

Delta electronic atx 600W - 5V drop
Hi to all,
I have Delta electronics ATX power supply 600W (dps-600mb)
It won't start with load (for example with halogen lamp 20W) on 5V line. If i connect only one hard drive and start ps by shorting pin 14 with ground, it will start OK. However, if i put two HDD's, fan is working and other voltages are present (12V, -5V, 3.3V) but 5V drops to 4.1V and HDD's are not spinning. If i connect third hdd, ps will shut down.
Main problem was that computer didn't start after being turned off until main plug was unplugged from wall socket, and 5-10mins pause....

Lite-on k17an "no signal input"
Hi to all,
I have lite-on monitor model K17AN and here is the problem:
Monitor is connected to computer (with good VGA signal, works on other monitor) and after switching ON shows "no signal input message". However, if i disconnect VGA cable from PC, then it shows "check VGA cable". Other problem is that when monitor is turned on it shows colors on display, like in some service test mode. First it shows full screen white, then full screen red, green, blue, black, and again white, red...
Basically, monitor is working, backlight is working obviously,...

Re: SyncOptics SMPS - no output voltage
Hi, thnx for the tip. I found this FET with markings SSP6N60A as failed.
I can't find it here in shops, can you recommend replacements?

SyncOptics SMPS - no output voltage
Hi to all,
OK, i have one SMPS from SynOptics and it's not working. Ratings are 100-220V 47-63Hz, 0.6A-0.03A, output is +5V 2A, +12V 0.7A and -12V 0.1A. It is used as power supply of some network hub (i need that hub working - and yes, i know that switch can be found under 20$) Fault is - no output voltage.
When AC plug is plugged, i can measure 310V DC on main filter capacitor on primary side and the same (DC) voltage on primary side of transformer. There is no AC voltage on primary side of transformer. From the other, secondary side, there is absolutely zero...

Re: Xerox xa7-19i - ao4620 failed
dear friend(s) sorry for my delay.
I replaced Q101, 102, 103 and my monitor is now working like a charm.
So thank you all, and especially thanks to you PlainBill for helping me to fix my monitor.

Re: Xerox xa7-19i - ao4620 failed
Bill, i don't think that is worth to further investigate this situation. Monitor is working, that was primary objective. I know that permanent 5V is not elegant so can i put a shrack relay to workaround this "problem"? What i meen is, take a relay for powering on/off bit3193, i only don't know from where to take power for relay? (12 and 5V are not trigerred by power on/off switch)

Re: Xerox xa7-19i - ao4620 failed
Dear PlainSeriousBilly,
I put jumper from 14V (actually i measured 14.90V) to "our" pin 5 and there is some strange activity while that jump is connected; i have 7.8V on zener 103, i have 7.6V on VDD pin 10 of bit3193, but i don't have backlight on? I didn't have more time to investigate. Any further ideas?
PS: i don't know is this is coincidence or measurement error, but i've noticed that voltage on vdd pin drops from 7.6 after few seconds to 0.2V after few second back to 7.6....and so on
