Thanks again for all your time , as i have all the parts except for the buffer boards and the board they plug unto i may well try that ,
i know its old but i like the picture and its got lots off scart inputs

Thanks for your reply , i have tried a fan behind but is not easy to get much flow into the back , funny thing is i left the picture on pause whilst the camera charged up ( on a dark part of the image ) when i came down to take the picture it was ok and i had to run the film again until the fault came up again clearly bright sections of the film etc cause things to heat up faster when i get some time i may try swapping the board although the set is a bit of a lump to work on ,

Thank you for reading my post i have taken some pictures which i hope you can see ,
there is a clear divide line across the screen , the set has been running for some time before this starts,
p/s i have not taken this set apart yet although i did try and get the other set going , but gave up after it blew two y buffer boards and one lower , it was going to cost to much to continue , i did keep all the other boards

Hi my name is Dave , thank you for reading my post
i have a toshiba 42in plasma tv which has given very good service over the years.
it has developed a picture problem , after it has been on for some time there is a ghost image of the top half of the picture on the bottom which flickers it can be seen most on a dark image .
i am looking for some advice on how i can fix the problem
the set came with another which did not work and is for parts only so i have everything except the y upper and lower buffer and y sustain boards , i can see that the tv is made mostly...
