Last time I came here, I was able to fix my TV with a new tcon board as suggested by some members here, and I loved fixing it myself. Now I am here with another issue with the same TV.
I have two issues with the TV now.
1. TV doesn't power off by button or remote. Anytime I plug in the wire, the TV turns On right away and I have to then unplug the wire to turn it off.
2. The channels keep changing by itself, so the remote doesn't work. here's a video of my actual TV

Replaced the t-con board with the exact set from ebay (used) for $35.
I made sure part and board number are the same.
Part Number : 35-D025860
Board number: V520H1-C06
Replaced the board, turned on the TV, and did not have to do anything else. No reset or anything. Turned out to be an easy fix. Thanks everyone again!Re: Samsung ln46a550p3f solarized screen problem

Thanks, I did a quick search and it looks like it will cost atleast 30-40 bucks to get started, and like you said depends on tool usage in future too.

Do I have to get a t-con board for the same exact model and size? what t-con board should I search for?

Thanks. I am new to these things. Will go real slow with the process so i don't mess up. I want to try to fix it myself.
