Re: ASUS AiO ET2220I USB Over Current Status
I'm so very sorry for this late reply, but i found a problem. Looks like i was looking in the wrong place. Problem was that second USB hub is in the side panel and current sensing resistors for this hub are on this panel instead of the motherboard itself. One of those resistors had a bad joint that broke off when the AIO fell, and all i needed to do was to resolder it.

ASUS AiO ET2220I USB Over Current Status
Hi.
I have Asus AiO ET2220I motherboard which triggers USB Over Current Status. All present USB ports are ok, no obvious short to ground. AiO itself was dropped, which resulted in broken touch panel. I suspect something like broken current sensing resistor, but can't find any.
If anyone could provide me with schematic or any advice how to solve this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Lenovo Y700 BY511 NM-A541 dead
Yes after desoldering PJ202 and applying 1V, board draws 3.6A and PCH is getting hot. Will replacing PCH solve my problem or should i just replace whole board?

Lenovo Y700 BY511 NM-A541 dead
Hi.
I have a dead Lenovo Y700 MB: BY511 NM-A541.
When connected to the AC adapter IC's PU802 and PU201, as well as coils PL802 and PL201, are getting really hot, really fast. Any caps that are close to those elements seem to be good (not shorting to ground). After desoldering PU802 and PJ 802, PU201 still gets really hot.
As far as i know, there were problems with Touchpad and USB power before laptop went completly dead.
I have access to bench power supply if needed.
Thanks for any help....

Lenovo y50-70 will not turn on
Hi there.
I have a Lenovo y50-70 which will not turn on. When i connect the power brick and press the power button, white led will flash for a moment after releasing it. Nothing else.
Power brick is genuine one from lenovo but it's rated for 2.25A instead of 6.75A. I do not have the correct one available at the moment.
My bet is on the power brick itself but it's always better to ask.
Thanks in advance.
