Re: Asus X55VD no video, then no nvidia and crazy fan

Good day! I have a similar problem my Asus X55VD. I received "New VGA adapter found" a few times when I booted my laptop. The fan was set to maximum, after some time it started working only at minimum and when the temperature gets at 80 degrees the fan start working more but without much effect.

This happened while reapyling thermal paste.

If I use hot air on the chipset for a minute, will that work?
