Hi Rustover. I know its been awhile since you posted about your Samsung c7000 and the clicking problem. I'm in the process of fixing mine. I already purchased a new powerboard since the old one was a bit crispy around the fuses,thyristors, and relay near the 120 mains voltage IN, but after swapping it out for a new one, I think the main board is the culprit (or was also damaged after the surge). Did that $80 board work? I'm not paying $300 bucks for a mainboard that is probably refurbished if that 80 dollar one worked fine for you. Is the c8000 main board interchangeable with the c7000? Hi everyone. I am looking to understand electronics more than I currently do. I want to be able to fix a board with a 1 dollar part versus buying a new part because a capacitor went bad. I've got one project that I'm working on, and another that was just put into my lap since my TV decided to take a nice power surge. I got a great deal on a replacement board, but I really need to know more about Samsung's internal part numbers. Hope you don't mind if I pick some brains around here!
