Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
0.22uH should be fine. Given the rather odd location, I myself would replace it with a big ass 0 ohm resistor, but that's me being a degenerate sometimes. Don't know what others might think about that....

Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
I don't have the boardview for that card, but from the name I assume it is an inductor that you are missing. My suggestion would be to measure if there is 12v at either end and if the other goes to the drain of some mosfet....

Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
Are you sure that is a 970? Because it looks just like a 980Ti G1 Gaming. Anyhow, you need to bridge the yellow points, ideally with a fuse (not with 0 ohm resistors like I did). I would suggest to leave the red pads unpopulated and use the blue ones instead, replacing the stock Mosfets with sinopower's SM7320, they handle more current with less Rds(on) and the stock drivers are capable of driving them....

Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
Hi guys, is there any GM200 boardview in .fz, .cad, .tvw, publicly available? e.g.: GTX 980Ti, GTX TITAN Maxwell, etc. Besides the one from MSI? I've found one for the reference cards, but that one is a PDF so not really useful for my purposes, otherwise I'll pick on the dead EVGA 980Ti's on my workbench and start sanding their PCB, for the sake of science.

Re: Boardview files
Would you mind sharing yours to check it? I have 2 boardview files for LA-G881P (motherboard), one works and the other one is corrupt. But both of them are Allegro brd's, so they only work on Allegro Free Physical Viewer....

Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
Are you able to read the IC markings? If so, being an MSI card, it probably uses some Richtek part. Googling it + richtek at the end will probably give you the model. e.g.: My MSI 980 uses a "1L=" which acording to Google is a RT8811B...
