OK. Nor shorts directly on the chip legs.
VCC (pin 28) is 19v and ACOK (pin 5) is ca. 6v which is above 2.4v for High. ACDET (pin 6) is 2.7v

cool.
next to the DC in there is a via that goes somewhere. no idea where and it's killin me. I have 19V at the mosfet but 0v on the other side. if I bridge the cap below the mosfet I get all rails. but then it just hangs.

Asus VIVOBOOK 17 F705M (mainboard x705ma) repair
anyone happen to know what chip this is? It's from a Vivobook 17 F705M (mainboard x705ma) and seems to be a PMIC of sort with a crack in it. I initially thought the problem was a blown n-channel mosfet on the other side of the board but even after swapping it I was getting bad readings on the mosfet. that is when i found this pretty boy here. it looks like it says 65=8G W3G but not sure. you can just make out the crack at the top left of the pic...

X705M?? or F705M?? P&Q board schematics and boardview
Hey all,
According to information I have been able to gather the X705M, X705MA, X705MB, F705M, F705MA and F705MB should all have the same schematics and boardview.
If anyone out there has these could you please provide them?
