Re: Vizio XVT3D424SV, orange standby light, no other signs of life
What I meant was when I apply 5v to the black remember on/off pin 13 on connector cn202 and at that point I had the above mentioned voltages in their respective locations on the power board. 18v on cn203 (actually reading about 20) and 165v on the v-led labled pin (1) on lcn201

Vizio XVT3D424SV, orange standby light, no other signs of life
I have the above mentioned tv, when plugged in the orange Vizio light illuminates but nothing else via remote or power button. I have 5V stqndy on all respective locations on power board, but nothing else. No bl on, no 12v or 18, naturally since nothing is telling it to turn on. I was able to find 3.3v at the power button, and trace it back via a tiny ribbon cable to main board. Soon as it hits main board and comes out the backside of ribbon connector, its gone. It does respond to pressing jog wheel up to that point. I was able to jump the 5v to the bl on pin and at that point had 12v on all respective...

Re: Vizio E500i-B1 Backlight
I do hear a very faint high-pitched sound from the area on power board where the side by side transformers are, but I've only noticed it since I've removed the board from the chassis and plugged it in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've been reading these threads for years now, you guys have walked me through quite a few repairs over the years. You guys are very, very much appreciated for your time and knowledge. Thank you

Re: Vizio E500i-B1 Backlight
I get 400v at the main caps, no change in voltage with main board, led connector or anything else unplugged.

Re: Vizio E500i-B1 Backlight
I have the same problem, 15v on all 24v pins on power board, but the tv works fine. After a couple weeks of using it, I went to use it one night and it wouldn't turn on. No backlights I mean. I brought it from home to my shop where I fix them and it's now almost a month later without a single issue, but still 15v everywhere it should be 24v. I want to double check everything before I sell it.
