Guessing the board needs to be replaced....

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum but have been a tinkerer for a while.

Anyhow, I've got a Vestel set with a strange fault:

When I plug the power in the LED status flashes between red and green for a few seconds, then settles on solid red.

If I press the power the power button, then the LED flashes red and green for a few seconds. Then the backlight comes on for about 30 seconds with a blank screen (LED still flashing red and green). Then the LED goes black after the 30 seconds as if I've unplugged the power. Then after a few seconds comes back on and...

Hi everyone.

Been an avid electronics fan since I was a wee nipper.
Dad got me interested into how things worked and have been enjoying it ever since.

Whatever it is I'm pretty much interested, as long as it includes electronics or science.
