just short pins of bios sir ,locate first your bios then short 4 pins while it its on power state wait till it powers off or restarts and then your zed air must have displayLeave a comment:

zed air 14 bios reset
i have zed air 14 which is i accidentally change settings in bios what i remembered is disabling fastboot and usb 3.0 then after saving settings and hit restart now it started not to function keyboard and mouse pad. i tried to find cmos battery but it doesnt have so i tried experimenting the board for being hopeless. im lucky, i resetted my bios deafult settings by shorting pins of the bios. what i just remember is putting tweezer to the 4 pins of bios 1234 just make them short while laptop is powered on then wait till goes off then try to power again your laptop without shorting pins of bios.... -
zed air 14 no backlight display help???
hi can you help me how to get back my lcd backlight of my zed air 14? it has display but no backlight it started when i accidentally short the red and black terminal of the battery then display went blankscreen but it has display if you point flashlight to the lcd i notice also the one ic labeled LP6253H became too hot so i remove it ,it has 2 pcs LP6253H my laptop still powering on and has display just the backlight went goneis it possible that the LP6253H is the cause?i cant find LP6253H to scrap boardcould anyone give me compatible ic to LP6253H? thanks in advance!... -

i found this method when i accidentaly change settings in bios of my zed air like "fastboot os" and disabled usb 3.0 " im so frustrated then i tried to short pins of bios thats all and my keyboard and mousepad comes back working againLeave a comment:

first you should dismantle your zed air until you see the motherboard then find the 8 pins bios mine i found my zed air bios at the other side of the motherboard ..the 8 pins bios there are some labeled HOLD CLK C1 and so on.if you found your bios press power on wait till it display then get a tweezeer or a screw that can short 4 pins of the bios try first pin 1234 short them wait till the laptop goes power off then there you go your bios settings will go reset deafaullts ..this will apply to those disabled keyboard mouse nom videosLeave a comment:

i have same model acer one 14 z1402, its hard to power on means sometimes turn on and off in a seconds but most of the time its totally dead no sign of power led lights nor charging..is your acer now totally works fine? can you tell me how to check that Q29 gate controller not working? do i need to use multimeter for that to check and q53 how do u know that its defect?it has 6 legs how to check using multimeter thanks ill wait for your replyLeave a comment:
