Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
Ok so I finally got my hands on a second hand main board. Now when I turn on the TV it all works fine until the TV turns itself off about 5 minutes view time. I get a 11 blink code. The Panasonic chart suggests it's the Fan SOS on the main board. I can't even see a fan on the main board or even on the TV itself. Any suggestions will be awesome.

Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
Ok so when I run the power supply by itself i still get 4.47v, but now I'm seeing 0.09V at the bottom pins.
When I have the all the boards connected and turn it on and quickly test the bottom pins they give me voltage, but slowly descends to 0 voltage....

Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
I was looking at getting a ST50 mainboard.
I asked a supplier if it would work and this is what they said:
"It should work, but it won't provide the functionality of your's original board.
You will have:
2 usb instead of 3,
3 hdmi instead of 4,
maybe incompatibility with your broadcast tv system (satellite system should be compatible),
software limitartions such sa lack of THX CINEMA, THX CINEMA BRIGHT ROOM, PROFESSIONAL presets, maybe...

Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
The TV is at the end of my bed and it's hooked up to the PC. Usually I watch or listen to something before falling asleep and the PC will go into sleep mode.
I woke up one morning and saw the 3 blink error code.
I knew something must have overheated. I won't be leaving the TV on all night like that again.
Appreciate all your help. I will try find a replacement board (not holding my breath) and will inform you of the result. ...

Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
Really appreciate your help Moreno
TNPH0988 1A mainboard seems extremely difficult to find.
I think I should go ahead with TNPH0989 2A mainboard from the 50ST50 as you suggest. Will it work fine without any problems? May you advise me on which mainboard to purchase, I would hate to get the wrong one

Re: Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
That's what I thought.
I ordered a new but used Power Supply from ebay and got the same 4.47v result? I'm thinking the problem is either the Main Board (even though I get no voltage to it?) or the Sub Power Board.
I get a LED 3 blink code.
I wanted to troubleshoot the cause with skilled members here on badcaps before consulting a TV maintenance repair technician.

Power Supply only showing STBY 5V - What could this mean?
I'm a newbie and would like to fix my TV myself.
I get 4.47v from the standby pin. All other pin-outs to the Logic board have 0 voltage.
Could anyone please help me understand what this may mean?...

Panasonic 3 Blink Code: Replaced POWER SUPPLY and still not working???
I have a PANASONIC TC-P60GT50.
I get 4.47v from the standby pin. All other pin-outs to the Logic board have zero voltage.
I get 15.67v from the SUB POWER BOARD.
I ordered a new but used POWER SUPPLY from ebay and I still get the same results?
Please could someone tell me what needs to be checked/done or what I have done wrong.
Thank you in advance.
