I dont have the ability to flash an eeproom atm. But it looks like the Mainboard for this tv isnt very pricy so ill start with replacing that and hope that fixes it. Thanks for the info!Leave a comment:

Samsung UN40J5200AFXZA Color Issues
Picked up this TV at the curb. Everything seems to work flawlessly except a sleight color issue. i was hoping to be able to repair it and replace my current one.
Its hard to see in the pictures.
Note the sleight green hue around the flame on the top right of the 2nd picture.

Looking on Digikey and im all kinds of Confused! lol Im new to trying to fix tvs and locate these tiny parts. This is only my 2nd tv ive tried to repair.

I plan on replacing them all eventually but id like to replace the individual ones first to Confirm that they are the whole issue..
How Should i go about locating Individual Capacitors?
is Ebay a safe place to buy them or do you all have a better source?
C202,C206 and C217 are all the same parts. (10v 2200uf V0A PET)
and C210 (35v 1500uf V4A PET)

LG 37LC7D Bad/Bulging Caps
Apologies if this isnt the correct place for this. This is my first real post here.
Found myself an LG 37" at the curb today. Did some testing and found it didnt like to turn on all the time.
Pulled it apart and found 4 or 5 bad Capacitors and im assuming thats the only issue.
When it doesn't turn on, the green power light flashes 2 or 3 times then flashes red once and repeats. My main question is has anyone come across one of these sets with the same issue? and am i wrong in assuming capacitors are Polarized?

The contacts on SR80 dont look dirty too me. Will upload a pic if i can yet.

I have the same Board from a Toshiba 47ZV650U. Same problem,
No power at all.
Tested R850 and it is Open. Bridged the contacts to test and it powerd on just fine. But i also noticed the Resistors on mine @ R827 and R828 are Blackened around them. Did you ever Find out the cause or Fix the issue? Thanks!...Leave a comment:
