Mine i guess is entering Over Voltage Protection, maybe isn't suppose to have that much voltage on Leds connector, maybe only 80v, ive tried manipulating some resistors on ovp pin of the leds driver but till now no success.
Any ideas?

Hello, sorry for dig up this old thread but i need help with mine Vestel 17IPS20P.
I only have 320v on the capacitors so i think the PFC circuit isnt running cause it should be around 400V, i don't have VCC_MAIN, VCC_M, VCC, nothing...
i've tested a lot of components found Q211, R228 and U202 blown so i've changed them and still no voltages....
The only short that i don't even know if it's a short is on pin 6 of U202 (SENSE (CS_M)), its normal beeping to ground on this?

Hey Guys,
Been searching through the forum for threads about optiplex 745 sff, and i found a few that help a lil but my problem is still a problem...
Already replace the blown 2200uF 6.3V capacitors but they keep swolling and licking, it could be other component causing this?
I touched the north bridge (the one with the heat sink) i guess, and it is so hot that almost cant touch it.
Opened the power dupply and didn't see nothing wrong.
My cpu is a core 2 duo 1.8GHz.

I have 4 of these PSU's here and i'm trying to fix them, one of them has the driver board burned, maybe i can save some smd's on it, but im trying to test de 2 IC's (IC301 and IC302) but i don't know how. there's a small transistor too that is burned... i'm trying to find some of these components on junk circuits but it's hard to find...Leave a comment:

I have 3 of these PSU to repair and i have the resistor blown, the transitor mosfet shorted and the fuse blown too, the 681k 1kv Capacitor still good but ill upgrade it to 2kv, and i will try to repair the other components, anyone know what dissipation is that resistor? 1watt? 2 watt? the value is 0,27 Ohm right?Leave a comment:
