I've got the same issue of the flickering screen before POST and Novo button not working. Only way to get to BIOS is through F2 button.
Luckily, if i leave it alone flickering for long enough, it will come to itself, re-POST and boot windows. But I wanted to sort this out. I am unable to flash any BIOS, 9acn26ww, 9acn30ww or 9acn32ww. Stuck with 9acn25ww.
I shorted the RTC battery terminals and it did not help.
Just trying to shed some light on out symptoms.
I may or may not venture into forcing a BIOS flash via a bootable...
