I live in NC, USA and am a newbie to electronics troubleshooting.
Started as a programmer in Assembler and COBOL back in late 70's but have moved up the corporate ladder, so haven't programmed in years - would be challenged by the modern development tools.
I enjoy fixing stuff and play around on TVs, Amps, etc.

Hi, I'm a newbie and a jack of all trades. Love to tinker with electronics but not formally trained in it. Have been an software developer for many years (started out as a mainframe programmer in COBOL and Assembly Language in the early 80's - my skills were useful leading up to Y2K but not much since!).
Currently I fix various components (motherboards, usually with badcaps), build audio amps and various wireless modules, etc.
