I have a sony kdl-70w840b only 1.5 years old.

Few weeks ago it suddenly started acting up. When you turn it on it would stay on for few seconds and then turn off and give 4 blinking red lights. I bought a used t-con from a tv shop and installed it but when I did it gave me a black screen with flashing orange and green lights.

So I downloaded the latest firmware from Sony and put it onto a USB drive and plugged it into the TV. It updated but when I turn it on there is no picture (black screen) with a steady green light for few seconds and then goes to flashing red...
