Old thread, I know. But here goes:
My TX-P50V10 started shutting down giving off a seven blink code after haveng been powered on for about 30 mins.
So I got a new used pair of SU/SD off eBay - allegedly from a set with a cracked screen.
However, after I installed them and powered the set on, it powered off right away.
I found a short circuit between GND and 5V_F_B (Vout of IC725) on the SC board. Turned out to be a shorted out inverter (IC564). After replacing it, I'm able to run the set...

New to this forum...
I have some experience in electronics and repair work.
I'm currently working on a Panasonic TX-P50V10 plasma TV with the infamous 7... you know... which brought me here :-)
(will post my results as they crop up).
