I'm having the same problem as the OP on the same model of TV ;however, when I disconnect the right hand side board and reconnected the power the TV kept continually clicking at 6 second intervals

Help with LG 50PA4500
I found a TV off the side of the road and brought it into my home to see if I could repair it. When I try to turn the TV (LG 50PA4500) on a red light flashes on the control board and a clicking noise can be heard simultaneously. In roughly 6 second intervals the flashing of the light and the clicking noise reoccur. I checked to see if any of the capacitors have domed and everything in the back looks fine. I would appreciate any help troubleshooting to find the issue. -
