just wanted to say thank you for this....I recently killed a cat with my old genie garage door opener....no safety beams....I have procrastinated changing the opener to a new one, because I have hardwired remotes for the old genie into the ignition of 3 cars -was a great idea at the time....step down the voltage, wire it into my ignition, and wire a switch to the dash. Finally put up a new opener, and knew there was a way to wire the old receiver to the new opener that has rolling code type frequencies, but couldn't figure it...

Hey there....Name is Kevin. Found this sight looking for a schematic for a Genie garage door opener receiver, but I like to tinker with electronics, and cause fires, lol...I'm not as edumacated as some of you guys, so I will probably have some stupid questions from time to time, as the only electronics I've been exposed to was my radioshack 301 electronics kit when I was a kid...
