Thanks for the input. When I get a chance I may try pulling it apart and pressing on the tab bonds and see if that makes a difference. With your lead I did some googling and It looks like Samsung may have had an issue with these and some people have had success using a taped pad on top of the bonds. Worth a shot......

With the help of threads on this forum I've repaired a couple of TVs and monitors and been using them quite successfully. Up until now they've all been power supply issues so I don't have a lot of experience with image quality/panel issues.

Recently I found a un55eh6070fxza on the side of the road. I was surprised and hopeful when it powered on, but as the picture came up realized why it was in the trash. Name is John. I've been lurking for a while using the site to find troubleshooting tips to repair a couple of monitors and TVs. Fairly good at mechanical things, but still a bit of a neophyte with electronics but always looking to learn more and improve my DIY skillset.
