Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
I ahve already desolded the T101 tranformer.
The secondary tested with blue ring tester and seems bad. With multimeter the value is 0ohms
I believe this is the problem
Do you know where can I find such part?

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Thanks David
I checked the circuit and I noticed that also R4 and R2 has the same colors. I desolder one of these and I measured 120Ω.
It is very strange thing about the color code they use for these resistors.

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
R5 color code is Green, yellow, brown, red, brown. I have found a pic on the net. Possibly we are talking about a protective circuit resistance.
I agree with you about transformers gooing bad but is this an exception?...Last edited by vazaki; 03-01-2017, 12:13 PM.

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
The secondary of the transformer is zero ohms. I have tested it with blue ring tester and it looks bad.
I have to order again fsq510 to test it with light buld....

Philips TVs are very crotchety.

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
The small transformer is desoldered.
In the primary it has two windings. Both tested with blue ring meter and both are good.
The secondary has one winding, tested but according to blue ring meter it is bad.
Is it possible? The transformer seems in very good condition without signs of burnt or smell.
Any opinions?...

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Checked the c120 it should be 10nf but I measure 5,5nf.
I will try to desolder the transformer and measure it again.
To give circuit a try I have to reorder again U101
What about d106a? The type of this diode is T2D 83. Checking with multimeter is seems open both sides. Is it normal situation? I tried finding specs but i didnt find anything. Is it a high voltage diode?

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Thanks for your post!
Checked again! All are fine.
D232 D232A D230 & Q231 are desoldered for checking purposes!...

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Thank you Budm.!
The part number of the board is exactly the same as you mentioned.
Board number is PLHC-T801A(UD)
Does Philips sell repair kits for this board? (272217152611, 272217100571).
D101A~D have been replaced. D160 & D160A are good.
Also there have been replaced:
> D111
>Pc201
>Pc102 & 101.
After all these, relay clicking and after a minute again R5 is blown again.
Snubber you mean GR8? the small transformer?
If you mean the...Last edited by vazaki; 02-24-2017, 11:26 AM.

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Here are the other pics.
R5 has been changed and burnt again. Its value is 120Ω 1W
U101 is freezed as dick_barton have correctly noticed on earlier post...

Here are the photos!
The parts that have been replaced:
> R5
> D101A
> D101B
> D101C
> D101D
> PC101, 102, 201
Also I need your help about T2D 83 diode. I measure it with the classic way but it seems open. Is it a special type of diode?...

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Thank you very much!!
I desolder U101 and measured again ZD101 & ZD103 with multimeter and they seem fine. Do I have to desolder them and check them again?

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Zd101 tested with multimeter seems fine but
Zd103 shows the same value both sides with multimeter but I see that it is in parallel with an smd capacitor.
Do I have to desolder it to check it again?
Should I check with external voltage?
Do you know the value of the zener diode?...Last edited by vazaki; 02-15-2017, 03:29 PM.

Re: Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Timmy thank you very much for your response and help.
I have changed already:
> U101
> D101A,D101B,D101C,D101D
> PC201,PC101,PC102
The result was that relay clicking and after a little the R5 burnt again. The fuse I have changed once did not blow again.
The solder joins are in very good condition.
Also I have tested D106A and it seems open. the diode writes T2d 83 on it.
do you jnow anything about this?...Last edited by vazaki; 02-14-2017, 12:04 PM.

Philips 47PFL7403D/10
Hi there to all!!
New to forum, first post but watching it several months silenlty.
I need your advice:
Philips 47PFL7403D/10
power supplyQ PLHC-T801A (UD)
No response while connected to wall plug.
I figured out that R5 is burnt. I have changed it with a new one and now when plugged in a relay is clicking all the time.
No led blinking.
After a minute the R5 is broke down again and everything dead.
All caps esr measured and they are very good.
Any advice for this issues?
Is it truly...Last edited by vazaki; 02-13-2017, 04:01 PM.
