I have just repaired a valve radio that need a new capacitor. I replaced it as it had gone open so I put a new one in only to have it go pop some 2 minutes later. I found that the case had a resistance of only 23 ohms to one of the pins.
Not good at all.
Have anyone else seen this?

This TV has what looks like ghosting on it but it looks like it's out of sink with something. I have replaced all the electrolytic capacitors on the power supply but no change.
Has anyone seen this fault? if so how do I fix it???

I have one of these power suppliers as well but it's seems to be making the picture go out of sync. Im not sure if it is the PSU but I have replaced all the electrolytic capacitors with no effect change.
Can anyone let me know if this is a stranded problem and how to fix it.

Can anyone help me. I have one of these power supplies in a TV that died. I have found the a diode (Marked DZM854). Can anyone let me what this is. I think it's the 24 volt zener. But I can't ID it. Or can anyone let me have a copy of the circuit schematic for this power supply.
