wynford hall 24F18 multiband radio schematic
I'm having a hard time finding a schematic for this radio From what I've found out is that it was sold under different names, it was manufactured by Ross Electronics. Which was also the Continental Radio company and some wore the Ross name plate as well as Admiral, another Continental brand. With all these sellers you would think schematics would be available but so far I've had no luck. If anyone has an idea where I could get them would be greatly appreciated. The reason I want them as I want to replace the caps to get rid of hum and generally improve it. A couple of other brands are Laurence...Last edited by rich-t; 01-29-2017, 09:33 AM.

Yep, everything works perfect. I still love this old bugger, it was only my ignorance and imptience that caused me to spend more on it than I should . I have a couple of other projects in mind for later, a transistor multiband radio with very low volume and a 1947 kohler generator that the automatic start and stop have quit working but that's for another day'

Re: 42"Fluid plasma tv Mod#(Samsung)pn50b550t2f
I would like to hear from someone like Tom66 or Reeceyburger who have alot of experience helping newbies like me, to give me some guidance on how to go about diagnosing my no audio and no video on hdmi ports, pic. only on air/cable input problem. I really don't like the idea of orderiing a 3rd board.
Thanks Richard.Last edited by rich-t; 01-20-2017, 09:58 AM.

Re: 42"Fluid plasma tv Mod#(Samsung)pn50b550t2f
Ah, the saga continues, after installing the 2n'd (new) main board I finally have a picture and a remote that will work with the tv,BUT, now I have no audio..It did work fine before. I originaly tested just hooked up to Air/cable and had a good pic. no audio so I hooked up my dvd which it played well before, no pic. white flash on screen, sometimes flashes "not supported" and of course no sound. Hooked it up to my fibre op and same result as with dvd. You fellas were right on about the main board. I wonder if you have...

Well I bit the bullet and ordered another main board today. My clumsy fingers are costing me but I am determined to fix this bugger even tho I am getting close to the cost of a new LCD, but they dont hold a candle to this plasma. Wish me luck, I,ll let ya all know..

Re: 42"Fluid plasma tv Mod#(Samsung)pn50b550t2f
Ok, put my original board in. All were pretty close ( 0.1 ohm) except for 1 SE8117TA on pin 1 = 2.05v and new(?) one was 1.25 . Also 1 of the 1084PM reads different, pin 1 now =0v 2= 1.25v 3=2.50v . Very different from replacement but neither works, at least the new one allows me to turn it on with the remote as my old one did until I touched something wrong :-( I hope someone can help me. My coffee table still full of TV,

Hi VR , main board was a exact mach an d had previously replaced power board and logic board. Will not get pic any more.
So I've tested the v/regs voltages and I think 2 are suspect but I need a more experienced opinion so please speak up (TOM66) :-)
The no's are AIC
1084PM
397H1 Vout 3.3 Vin 5v
There are 3 of these, my readings are as follow useing the left pin as pin 1.
First reg. 1=0.57 2=1.81 3=3.29
Second reg 1=2.04 2=3.29 3.29
Third reg 1=1.26...

Re: 42"Fluid plasma tv Mod#(Samsung)pn50b550t2f
