Hello. I'm experiencing an issue with my [B]Aorus 15p xc[/B] laptop.
The motherboard is [B]GA-RX5LXC[/B].
The problem I'm encountering is that the laptop sometimes fails to power on, and it appears that a protective mechanism is being triggered.
I've observed that while the laptop is in operation, the [B]EDP_U8[/B] microchip (I've included a photo) heats up significantly, reaching temperatures of [B]75-80[/B] degrees Celsius.
However, when I disconnect the LCD from the motherboard, the [B]EDP_U8[/B] microchip doesn't heat up. I've conducted power supply measurements... -

Hello again, everyone. After replacing the port, the laptop started working correctly. So, even if the port looks perfect under a microscope, it's worth starting the repair from it, rather than, like I did, spending a lot of time searching for a problem that doesn't exist.Leave a comment:

I started comparing measurements between [B]uu7[/B] and [B]uu11[/B] and noticed a difference in the signal resistance of [B]TBTA_CC1_CONN[/B] (around [B]9mΩ[/B]) compared to [B]TBTA_CC2_CONN[/B], [B]TBTB_CC2_CONN[/B], and [B]TBTB_CC1_CONN[/B] (the resistance was stable at [B]11.3mΩ[/B]).
I decided to swap the [B]uu7[/B] and [B]uu11 [/B] microchips, but it didn't yield any results. Also, when I connect the charger to the damaged socket, I observe voltage spikes from 0.5 to 2 volts on [B]uu11[/B]...Leave a comment:

Hello I need advice how to repair my [B]Lenovo yoga 7[/B].
In my Lenovo yoga 7-14itl5 motherboard nm-d131 there is a problem with usb-c port [B]JUC1[/B].
This laptop has 2 ports usb-c and 1 usb-A.
Problem port is [B]JUC1[/B]. When i connect original power adapter - laptop is charging only 1 side. Also when I connect any usb-c device laptop doesn't see it and I get a power surge on the usb port error. When i connect Oneplus 9 original 65w charger the laptop interrupt charging every 2 seconds.
[B]JUC2[/B] work's correctly
[B]USB-A[/B] work's correctly... -
