Re: Insignia TV fried my NEW power board. PLEASE HELP.
He asked if I could upload a picture of the whole back of the TV, so I edited the post to include one. Sorry, I should have been more clear.

Insignia TV fried my NEW power board. PLEASE HELP.
Hello everyone!
I'm new to this forum, and not extremely experienced with circuitry, so please bear with me while I beg for help.
So I was given a used Insignia TV that had stopped turning on (see attatched picture, Model# NS-48D42NA16). Specifically, when plugged in, the standby light would turn on, then blink red (from what I've gathered, this signifies an error in the powering on process). I took the back off of the TV, and inspected the power board. I checked to see if any capacitors were bulging first, because I've heard that's one of the most common causes...Last edited by Reepor; 12-10-2016, 08:50 PM. Reason: Edited to include picture of the back of the TV

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone! My name is Chad, I'm 22 from Tennessee, and I'm on this forum because I ran into a problem while attempting to repair a TV. This seems like a pretty interesting and informative forum, so hopefully I'll get my answer!
