Re: technika 46-270 wont power on
ye I got it on after some persistence psb measures fine to voltages listed. eeprom change it is then cheers Dick just wasn't sure if the eeprom would correct its self with a factory reset or if the eeprom its self was just trash. I'll switch that out just to be safe cheers for the reply mate.

technika 46-270 wont power on
Got this one in the other day as suspected the eprom u10 issue however I have managed to get it to power on, now my question is can I get a factory reset to sort the issue or is it a new eprom/ rep board. obviously after a long term fix.
Happy paddys day!!!!

LG 47LA620v thin equal spaced lines across screen
Afternoon all,
I bought a LG 47LA620v with the fault of it not coming on but with sound, so obviously I head to the tcon board as I have backlight and sound. I had a tcon board for a 47LA575 so popped that in to test prior to ordering a new tcon and the picture comes on brilliant you may think. Well upon looking at the picture there are thin horizontal uniformed lines running across the screen as in pics below. The lines start at the top of the screen but fade further down the screen till they disappear. I then receive the tcon I ordered for it put it in and get nothing but a white line...

Re: Sony KDL-32L5000 Will Not Turn On
have you done a firmware update on the new board, I had a kdl 40ex523 which went off in a store but didn't show any standby Led etc however all psb voltages where good going to the mainboard upon closer inspection the main processor had the glorious rainbow colour surrounding it that you get when you heat it up far too much lol. I replaced the board and done the firmware update although the update itself took over a hour (exact time unknown as I let it run overnight) just something to try

ue37d6530 bad main board
Afternoon all,
Just after a little assistance from one of the US users if possible please.
Im after a main board for the above tv as I have a issue with the tv not displaying anything but seemingly coming out of standby. when you unplug the main board from the psb then the backlights come on. I believe this is a common issue as there is a guy charging about $150 to do a repair on them on ebay but allas I think I maybe able to get a replacement board a bit cheaper. So what im after is the compatible board numbers for the board I have which is bn94-05108f I cannot find anything...

Re: LG 42LN575V backlight issue.
ive had 2 of these and a few other models you will need a backlight strip but this does mean running the risk of damaging your screen as it has to be removed to replace. If you decide to fix it do as the guys are saying and lower the backlight on your set. LED failure was always going to be a issue when these designs came out. good luck
